Price comparing

Price comparing also known as price match isn’t always about checking different store prices or even exploring the online vs in store. It is about all of the above. The same store could offer 10 different varieties of the same product. As the post image shows, Amazon offers over thirty varieties of HDMI cables alone. Each has a different length, color, and producer… But they’re all HDMI cables. Most tout some type of revolutionary new feature above the others, but they are all essentially the same thing. To compare with Amazon, Walmart, Target, Bestbuy, Kroger, and hundreds of other retailers also offer a variety of HDMI cables that do the same.
Take the time to research and see what really makes the worth more than the others. Why spend $30 on a cable that you can have for far less?
Price comparing can be a difference between paying $100 for an item versus paying $80 for the same or similar item. Now to some, saving $20 does not seem that beneficial from that one instance, however, if you do $20 a month for a year the price adds up very quickly.
Think of saving as a big picture rather than the single instance.

Finesser’s vision

Just imagine….

Imagine that instead of buying the $24.99 HDMI cable, you buy the 5.95 cable that’s essentially the same thing.
That’s saving $19.04 on that single purchase.
Now theoretically, let’s say you save the same amount each month on all your purchases combined.
From January to December you saved $19.04 each month on all purchases (theoretically).
That’s an extra $228.48 in your pocket.
Now imagine if you did this for every purchase! The savings at the moment isn’t much, but the collective amount is!
Some stores make it easy by doing a price match guarantee.
Just taking some extra time to make a purchase will save you and be well worth it.

When in the store

Before you pull the trigger, just do 5 steps before you buy.

  1. Stop at the product shelf or checkout screen.
  2. Pull out your phone.
  3. Google the item.
  4. See local prices.
  5. Make an educated choice.
